Timetable Data

HAFAS is able to process timetable data of various sources and formats. The original data are from systems as EFA, DIVA, VISA, Infopool.

The timetable data include master data and journey data. Master data, for example, railway stations/stops or pedestrian routes, but also equivalences. By this one means, e.g. different station numbers for a single station, such as Central Station and Central Station lower platform.

Journey data each includes the identification number (ID), type, sequence of journeys, line numbers, frequency of service, entrance and exit options active/inactive, etc.

The input data for the master data and the journey data from the various tools of the traffic operating companies are fed into HAFAS and converted.
