By combining various route planners and the HaCon
HAFAS-SearchController,
we can provide door-to-door information for the entire travel route.
Whether it involves walkways, taxis, or public transportation,
HAFAS always identifies the optimal routes. The communication
between HAFAS and a cartographic viewer enables users to highlight departure,
destination, and via-stations on a map displayed on the screen. If specific
locations are highlighted on the map, the nearest train stations or bus
stops can be identified automatically for these locations. The fastest
and most convenient connections are thus identified and displayed automatically
for up to six departure and destination stations and stops. This Internet
version has been implemented in addition to a Windows-version.
