Hafas2go ... the mobile navigation system for bus & train
Hafas2go With Hafas2go there is now a convenient navigation system for bus & train on nearly every mobile phone available. Travellers can query timetable information from door to door simply during their trip. Hafas2go enables access to a complete timetable without leaving the application. If surrounding maps are needed, maps with walkways or additional information can be stored on the mobile device. Once calculated and downloaded all data will be saved on the device. Simply create your own timetables.

Functionality
With the new Hafas2go you can calculate and download your own personal timetables and save them on your mobile device. Your mobile can remember any location (stops or addresses) and therefore calculate connections between any desired points.

Hafas2go is an independent application (as .jad and .jar file) which will be installed on the java enabled mobile phone.
To find an individual connection you can use the adaptive location list. This list can contain stops as well as addresses or POIs (points of interest). If a location is not contained in the location list, you can enter the desired place, verify and save it in Hafas2go.
After downloading the individual timetable, it will be available in Hafas2go at any time without additional online connection. In the connection overview you can scroll and view details. A ticker mode shows remaining time until next departure and activates an alarm with adjustable warning time.
You can download a surrounding map with three zoom levels for every location in the location list which is then accessable from the location list and from the details of a connection as well. Once downloaded the map is available offline for pedestrian navigation.

In the individually calculated timetable you can ask for current realtime information from the Internet containing information about delays for several connections.
Furthermore with Hafas2go you can download ready-made packages including timetable data and/or locations. Possible for example are packages with the 50 most important stops, city to city connections to a location as well as hotels or restaurants as POI's. This packages can be customised.
Finally there is the possibilty to synchronise favourites in Hafas2go via myHAFAS from the Internet. After a single specification of username and password this synchronisation occurs automatically so that favourites from the Internet (connections or locations) are available directly.
An integrated update function assists you to calculate the timetable again at the end of the timetable period.
Transportation companies can integrate Hafas2go seamlessly into their HAFAS environment.

If the desired location (address, stop or POI) is not available in the list yet, you can simply add it to the list. Just "teach" your mobile your personal locations and connections.

In the details of a connection all sections of a connections are listed and more information can be shown, e.g. maps of footways, detailed attributes of the connection or days of service. Once downloaded, timetables are available on the device for the complete timetable period. A new online connection isn't necessary.
Hafas2go Surrounding map Hafas2go Surrounding map For stops, routes or footways an interactive map can be downloaded. So that your mobile phone becomes a navigation system of the public transport. Routing descriptions and maps assists foot passengers in an optimal way.

The GPS position and the covered distance is shown in the map. The red way shows the path walked and the black x shows the current GPS position.
Hafas2go Realtime informationen Hafas2go Realtime informationen In combination with HAFAS-RealTime realtime information can be retrieved online. Therefore you have a complete overview about delays, cancellations or any other trouble on your connection. Your mobile phone becomes a mobile journey guide and knows all alternatives.
