HAFAS-Print ... Automatic creation of printmedia

Printed timetable information has its place in traffic systems in spite of the increasing importance of electronic media. Wherever you go, the timetable at the platform or at inter-city connections is on paperback.
The HAFAS-Print family is a software add-on module based on HAFAS for generating Print Products. Today, printed media, created by Deutsche Bahn AG on the base of HAFAS, runs among the most important products of HaCon. The HAFAS-Print family contains several products to create and prepare custom printed timetables, and with the standard program Framemaker you can influence your own professional and individual layout.

The following printed material can be created automatically on the base of the HAFAS-Database: On the base of HAFAS-Timetable data you can create, for instance, the following printed materials:

	HAFAS-Print Principle Creation of printed media for the most part fully automatic and on the base of the HAFAS-Database.
	HAFAS-Print Books and route planner The table planner system, a database to govern basic data (such as stop-sequences), filter for choosing routes (category, lines), and specified layouts (forms, sizes).
	HAFAS-Print Station boards The Station board planner, a database to manage basic data (such as arrival/departure, period), filter to display tracks and layout (format of the board, font, columns).
	HAFAS-Print Stop information In a special version of HAFAS-Windows you can display and print comfortable stop information referring to routes and ordered by weekdays.
	HAFAS-Print city to city This system creates tables like books with connections from city to city. The database manages books and belonging tables as well as basic data to search connections (categories, stops, direct connections) and parameter to evaluate connections (for example frequency, time of the journey, stops to change).
	HAFAS-Print2Web Individual print media on the internet On the Internet HaCon enables an individual creation of inter-city connection tables and personal timetables.
