At www.bayern-fahrplan.de the timetable information for Bavaria was put officially into service. Bavaria uses as a further federal state an information system on basis of HAFAS. The technical realisation was coordinated by DB System in order of the Bavarian railway company. Otto Wiesheu, the Bavarian minister of transport, has called the production of the new electronic timetable information as a "milestone for users of public transport". With the new timetable information system in Bavaria you can get door to door information because of the integration of all public transport systems.
