Hacon presents the next generation of mobility apps

Hannover, July 16th 2025. Siemens Mobility subsidiary Hacon presents HAFAS NextGen, the new generation of the proven HAFAS apps. Thanks to NextGen, passengers can plan their trips faster and easier, using their preferred combination of mobility options. The user-centered design combines intuitive trip planning, ticket booking and real-time travel assistance in one single app. The innovative Live Navigation supports travelers throughout their journey, reminds them to set off, change vehicles and get off in advance and suggests alternative routes if the timetable changes.

Transport companies benefit from NextGen's continuous development and customizable branding. The app offering consists of several preconfigured product suites that can be adapted to specific requirements, from travel information to full Mobility as a Service, and enhanced with modules such as Live Navigation or Traveler Relation Management. All functions are consistently designed to be accessible to comply with the European Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA.
